What was it like to live in Sweden during World War II? How were people affected by everything happening so close by?
This year marks 80 years since the end of the war, and SVT invited the Swedish public to share their memories: letters, films, photographs, and diaries. Thousands of submissions came in from all over the country, resulting in a five-part documentary series about Sweden and the war.
This project was created to be published on SVT’s platforms as part of awareness-building content for SVT’s major new documentary series “Sverige och kriget” (“Sweden and the War”). We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in it! Based on SVT’s idea to visualize the documentary’s participants as their younger selves, we produced, directed, and styled four young talents – and here is the result!
